I brought my bike down to Detroit the second or third week. I’m so glad I did because I’ve been biking all over Detroit. One experience that stood out to me was when I went for a bike ride downtown and up the river walk. I think this city is so cool because it has the skyscraper skyline, but also water to look over too. I went around sunset and it was a beautiful scenery. Since then, I have seen the beauty of this city come to life with the people in it as well. At my placement I meet new and motivated people a,most every day. It is inspiring to see people so passionate about this city and what they do, and it makes me want to do the same.
