I really enjoy working with the people in my site and as this internship progresses, we are getting closer. Working on COVID-19 is one of the best things I could’ve done because I feel as if I have an impact on what can happen. I’m able to research how this virus is affecting different people in different communities. I also enjoy doing this because I’m really interested in Public Health and how different viruses can change the dynamic of an environment. Through this internship, I am also gaining more skills that I wouldn’t have been able to have such as how to effectively use google sheets and zoom. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for me!

I also am really interested in public health, I love how the field can literally be about anything because public health affects everything! It’s cool you’re seeing the direct effect of how different viruses can change an environment and I hope we can hear more about it soon.
