Week two with CPPC – Detroit Community-Engaged Research Program

Week two with CPPC

Week two with CPPC was productive.  We met with the Blue Ribbon Panel (BRP).  The BRP  is a group of professionals in various areas from the Department of Natural Resources to a retired UM professor.  The purpose of this panel is to help select sustainable conservational researched ideas for Chandler Park Conservation Campus.  In this meeting CPPC presented researched information to the BRP for evaluation and feedback.  The meeting was successful and we where able to gather a lot of good leads for additional research. Also, a new intern has joined CPPC and will be helping with the research, thats pretty cool because she is a architect and has a lot of knowledge in the field of conservation.

  1. That’s really cool Kiven! Conservation is a great thing and its great you are doing research to help conserve Chandler Park (A place I have visited many times) and make it a more sustainable place! I am interested to know more about what exactly you do, we should talk about it sometime!
