On the wonderful day of July 7th, I turned the BIG 1 – 9 !! My father wanted to have a barbeque with my close friends, but we didn’t plan it. However, it happened without planning. Two of my close friends were in Detroit. My friend Chelsea had spent the weekend with me and my friend Daniellea and her family came up Sunday for my birthday.
My mom decorated the patio with balloons and my favorite color, purple, my father grilled, and Daniellea’s mother cooked some Jamaican dishes. The food was delicious. It was a nice birthday. I was able to chill and relax on my birthday. One of the things I wanted to do for my birthday was go to the gun range. Today I get my wish, I’m going to the gun range with my father.
The age 19 doesn’t sound appealing, but it has its perks. I feel like I’m getting old. But, with time comes wisdom……..
