This week was exciting because we are moving offices! I moved a ton of files on Wednesday from one side of our building to the other (perhaps 6 or 7 filing cabinets full).
This is one side of the working world that I wouldn’t have anticipated: that periodically (could be anywhere from 3 and 7 years like it has been for Detroit 300) one may have to pick up all the contents of their office and move to a different part of the building. From my experience Wednesday, this would seem to be a pretty time-consuming process (more than a few hours like moving in and out of a dorm…). I guess I learned that moving skills are pretty effective in the work world as well as in the life of a college student.

Also, shout-out for one of our organization’s events: this Saturday is the Paradise Arts Festival at Paradise Valley Park (really close to Comerica Park/right outside COLORS restaurant). So if you guys want to see some great art or listen to live music, the event starts at 12:15!
