I know how to jiggle the back door just right to get it to open.
And I can answer (most) people’s questions on the phone.
I am recognized by community members at meetings every so often now.
And I am up on all the park political drama.
I have some bearings now.
I can tell a busy day from a slow day.
And a street with a block club from one without.
But the most important bearing that I grasp, is knowing that I’ll never know.
In reflection of the unknowable complexity of a space, I am posting the start of my pictures of District 3 parks. This is only 9 parks out of 55 in 1 district out of 7 in the city.

It is amazing how much you can say using just a few words. Very reflective, and I like your pictures and writing style for this post. Keep us updated on the park situation!
