Dear Sydney,
I hope move-in went well for you and your peers. I’m sure mom and dad didn’t make it easy on you, but I know you survived. How is your room and what do you think of your suitemates? I’m sure it is nice and they are wonderful ladies. Are you excited for the first week of work? You must be seeing as you are going to be a part of a really special project there. Don’t be afraid that you don’t know everything right away, take your time and get to know your coworkers and the lay of the land. Come in with an open mind and try to absorb as much as you can. I know you will help out when it comes to community interaction and at speaking arrangements because that is something you like and are good at. From what I see, you are already getting accumulated and seem to be enjoying yourself. On your down time show your peers all the exciting spots that Detroit has to offer, and show them why it was such a great place for you to grow up in. I hope you develop your organizational skills and continue to gain wisdom in professionalism as you grow from this experience. Have a great summer!
