The Detroit Community Based Research Program has been nothing but quality time! Every meeting and event that I have experienced with the program I have learned some quality information and met some really quality people. I have learned that partnering is a big thing in Detroit and it helps to make business thrive. Supporting one another is the reason why many organizations are successful. I have also learned to take risks, sometimes you have to just follow your heart and passion and try something new. Usually the risks you take are the most rewarding. These events taught me to fight for what I believe in no matter how hard the fight is and to always give back to the community where I came from or even a community that I did not come from. The key words are giving back, giving back is vital to make a positive difference in others life.
