I completely forgot to post this blog last Thursday, so please forgive me!
The event that we have been planning is finally here. The health and safety fair is this Wednesday, and I am surprised that I am not feeling any stress. Although it has been really rough dealing with my boss, our committee members, and potential vendors, it has been an extremely rewarding experience. I was really worried that the event would not be successful for many reasons. We were putting in a lot of work to organize the fair, but we were not seeing the results that we wanted to. I am happy to say that things have changed and that we have accepted more vendors than we were supposed to, but I am sure that we will make it work. With all of that being said, I am super excited to see the fruits of our labor and provide a great health and safety fair for the Parkside community!
The health and safety fair sounds really interesting! Is this something that people outside of the community can attend? I’d love to hear more about it and the work you’ve put in. It seems like a lot of coordinating different organizations would go into that, something I’d find very stressful – Kudos to you all! Best of luck with the fair!
