Throughout the program, I’ve really enjoyed our group meetings. I think we’ve had the opportunity to learn more about Detroit and have honest, real conversations about issues residents of Detroit face. I enjoyed all the museum visits, and I liked learning about Detroit, especially in the group.
Also, I really liked all the time we spent together as a group. I think we got to know each other really well. In addition, I enjoyed hearing about other people’s placements in the program. I think it really made my experience more memorable to know what everyone else is doing and what issues in their communities they are dealing with.
