I can’t believe we are coming up on our last week together. Although I will still be working with my community placement until the end of the summer, I am still really sad that I won’t be able to see all the other fellows all the time. I hope that everyone enjoyed their time in the community and that we will all stay in touch in the future!
In terms of my project, my partner and I just finished our rough draft of our college application writing kit! Our writing kit includes a ton of brainstorming strategies, writing tips, avoidances, refining tips, annotated essays, meditation/relaxation techniques, and next steps. We met with Megan about it and she was so impressed! She said it was very professional and that she knew it would be a successful kit. I am excited to do some revising on it and adding to it.
I was in charge of the 826michigan introduction, the annotated essay examples, the mental health breaks, and the designing! I really enjoyed designing and creating templates on Canva. I think I am going to be involved in another project with designing.
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good time winding down their projects.
I can’t wait to see the finalized version of the writing kit! You’ve been talking to me about it while figuring out our other projects! I also can’t believe we won’t be seeing the other fellows after this but at least we’ll still have our projects to work on.
