This summer, I was placed at Chandler Park Conservancy. Many parks have specific things that they focus on, however, Chandler Park is known for sports. Chandler Park puts on events throughout the year as well as many programs. They also have many amenities that attract people with different sports interests and interests in general. Their mission is to create exceptional educational, recreational, and conservation opportunities for youth and people of all ages. So far the DCERP Program has been giving me great experiences. I’m grateful for this opportunity to stay in Detroit. While staying here, I was able to see many similarities Detroit has with Chicago and I am also really happy with where I was placed for my fellowship.
